When I was in high school I was enrolled in an advanced placement art class. After school the work force was not my forte! Hairdressing became my artistic and creative outlet.

Creative Influence
An old girlfriend once wanted to have pictures taken but insisted that I get a haircut before the shoot. She booked an appointment with her hairdresser. It was at that moment that I first began to observe and learn styles and techniques that I would eventually be using myself. And at that moment, I was inspired.
Most Important Tool
Your hands are the most important tools because they control the sheers. They control the brushes and the blow dryer, which you need to sculpt. Your hands distribute the product and help achieve the proper look. I use the touch of my hands to determine balance in the hair. Your hands are everything.
