Getting Started in Hairdressing
From an early age, it made sense to follow my passion - Hair. I immediately enrolled in Cosmetology school upon graduating high school and followed my dreams of owning my own salon - which I did for 5 years. I then saw an opportunity to move to Atlanta, and for the past 12 years I’ve been helping others see their beauty from another perspective. By doing so, this career has been fulfilling for me in so many ways.
Thoughts on Hairdressing
It is amazing how a silhouette or the flair of your hair can really change and accentuate someone’s overall appearance. To be able to compliment someone’s sense of style with a hairstyle is truly an art.
Creative Influence
Education, attending hair shows or classes, and being around the “next thing” in fashion is very inspiring. It drives me to do the best and learn as much as I can about hair.
