Getting Started in Hairdressing
I’ve always been interested in hairstyling. My love affair with hair started with my Barbie’s and has continued to this day. Over the years, I just couldn’t seem to find a way to go to hair school and keep my corporate job. Twenty years of corporate marketing went by in a flash. Then one day I woke up and thought I really want to do something more creative and more rewarding. My first thought was “it’s time for me to be a hairstylist!” So I quit my job and started cosmetology school, and I never looked back. There’s nothing more fun and rewarding than making people look good and feel good everyday.
Thoughts on Hairdressing
I look at each person as a blank art canvas, having it’s own shape, color and texture. My job is to bring it to life, giving it a unique personality. Create a personal piece of artwork that everyone wants to talk about.
